vivo X80 series to launch on April 25
On April 25, vivo will debut its new X80 range of smartphones in China, the rumored turning to fact for vivo X80 series to launch.
On its official Weibo account, vivo has already shared teasers of the X80, showing off its appearance, including the ZEISS-powered cameras. According to the photos and video, the X80 series will have four cameras packed in a large camera module.
The vivo X80 series is said to be made up of two models: the X80 and the X80 Pro, with the former using the Dimensity 9000 chip and the latter using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
The phone appears to have a Vegan Leather back with an Orange finish in the teaser image. A quad-camera array is also visible on the back, which is located on a big island. On the camera island, the phone also features the Zeiss logo. The Vivo X80 series is also available for pre-order in China.
The Vivo X80 lineup, like its predecessor, the Vivo X70 series, will provide professional photographic experience. The X80’s camera technology was developed in collaboration with ZEISS. It is also likely to come with Vivo’s professional imaging chip, the Vivo V1+. According to rumors, Sony’s IMX886 will make its debut in the Vivo X80 series.
The Dimensity 8100 SoC could power the Vivo X80, while the Dimensity 9000 chip could power the X80 Pro. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC could be used in the X80 Pro+. In the days leading up to the official launch, the Chinese manufacturer is anticipated to reveal further details about the X80 lineup.
Confirmation from its manufacturer
While Vivo has not confirmed the camera system on the rear of the phone in question, the Vivo X80 Pro+, it is said to include a primary camera as well as ultrawide, telephoto, and periscope lenses. The phone will also be equipped with Vivo’s proprietary Vivo V1+ professional imaging processor.
