Rakk Pluma – Budget-friendly Mechanical Keyboard!
Rakk Gears’ lineup of mechanical keyboards has been steadily improving, and I’ve been a lurker following their progress since their Kimat lineup, but I haven’t found myself wanting any of their previous keyboards; I don’t think there’s anything special about them, except for the most recent one, the Rakk Ilis, with its dual numpad/arrow key function and interchangeable top cover. When it comes to mechanical keyboards, I believe Rakk Gears’ creation began there. I’d been eyeing the board since it was first released, but I never had the chance to get one. I procrastinated and procrastinated till I was bored with the project.
As they prepared to unveil their new keyboard, which they believe will revolutionize the affordable mechanical keyboard industry, my attention was sparked once more.
There were numerous leaks and teaser images circulating in our community, and the keyboard appeared to be very promising, at least based on the leaked information and images. This time, I promised myself that I wouldn’t let this opportunity pass me by, and I had a hunch that this would be my first ever review of a local brand mechanical keyboard.
The Rakk Pluma is the keyboard we’re talking about here, and it’s the one I chose for my first local keyboard review. In a nutshell, it’s the best keyboard Rakk Gears has to offer.
