The Wolf Among Us is an interactive episodic fantasy adventure video game for Xbox One. It is based on Bill Willingham’s Eisner Award-winning Fables comic book series. Telltale Games created the game, which was also responsible for the 2012 Game of the Year, The Walking Dead. There are five episodes in total. In November of 2014, it was launched for Xbox One. It’s a game for one person only. It’s a sophisticated take on legendary and mythical animals and characters. The Wolf Among Us is a dubious series that is frequently harsh and aggressive. The game takes place in 1986, approximately two decades before the events of Fables.

The game is played from a third-person perspective, similar to the bulk of RPGs in which the user manages and controls a character. Bigby Wolf is the character you control in this game (The Big Bad Wolf). Bigby Wolf begins the game by investigating a woman’s murder. Because it is a murder investigation adventure game, you will be charged with solving puzzles and Quick Time Events while exploring three-dimensional items in the gameplay such as buildings, bars, and apartments (QTEs).

Throughout the play, you’ll be invited to engage with various individuals, and your dialogue will be shown in the form of dialogue trees. You can choose which dialogue options to use, and your choice will influence how other characters perceive Bigby Wolf. This is crucial in the game since their perceptions will have an impact on occurrences in later rounds.

The five episodes are below:

  • Ep. 1 – Faith
  • Ep. 2 – Smoke and Mirrors
  • Ep. 3 – A Crooked Mile
  • Ep. 4 – In Sheep’s Clothing
  • Ep. 5 – Cry Wolf

Because it contains violence sequels, strong language, and brutality, the game’s core demographic is adults. To be fair, this is what the majority of people enjoy playing with.

To get the most out of this game, you don’t need to be a seasoned gamer. Because of the game’s narrative tale and the sense of accomplishment that comes with each finished phase, it’s incredibly addicting. You’ll find yourself in charge of something both difficult and enjoyable to play. FINAL COMMENTS

You will enjoy this series if you prefer action, adventure, and games like GTA that are vicious and violent. It’s an adult take on legendary and fairytale characters, which has already been stated.

With its violent moments and heart-pounding music, The Wolf Among Us will undoubtedly awaken your inner Big Bad Wolf. If I had to evaluate this game on a scale of 1-10, I’d give it an 8 out of 10, with a couple of points deducted for infrequent problems and framerate decreases.
